Denver Broncos sign former Steelers linebacker Joe Schobert
By signing veteran Joe Schobert, the Denver Broncos addressed their ILB injury problem with Jonas Griffith.
Joe Schobert, 28, started his career with the Cleveland Browns as a fourth-round choice in the 2016 NFL Draft, and he spent last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Schobert played for the Steelers throughout the previous season until being released in March. During his stint in Pittsburgh, he recorded 112 tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble.
He has been remarkably durable during his first six seasons and made the Pro Bowl in 2017.
Throughout his career, he has also starter for Cleveland and Jacksonville.
With Griffith away for over two months, Schobert and Josey Jewell may be able to keep things under control.
