Jameis Winston Injured On Monday: NFL World Reacts

Due to a foot injury, Jameis Winston exits Saints practise early.

Head coach Dennis Allen told reporters: Jameis sought medical attention today for an assessment after slightly tweaking his foot.

Dennis Allen, the head coach, later said that Winston rolled his ankle but wasn't seriously hurt.

Winston's Twitter followers are already encouraging him in the hopes that his injury is not serious.

Jameis Winston was appointed the full starter for the Saints in 2021 after serving as their backup quarterback in 2020.

 59 percent of his throws were completed for 1,170 yards and 14 touchdowns in his first seven games, and he looked fantastic in his first game since 2019.

Veteran Andy Dalton replaced Winston as New Orleans' first-team rep for the game.
