Kevin Harvick wins NASCAR Cup race at Richmond Raceway
Harvick won for the 60th time, the fourth time in Richmond, and for the first time on the 0.75-mile track since 2013.
He broke a 65-race winless streak last week in Michigan.
Kevin Harvick is suddenly 2-0 and in the running for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series championship after a 65-race winless run.
In terms of career victories in the premier series, Harvick matched Kyle Busch for eighth and attributed his advancement to growing familiarity with the Next Gen vehicle.
"We're just going to keep doing the things that we're doing," Harvick said.
With two races left in the regular season, Harvick's victory also maintained the exciting competition for the final playoff spot.
Unless fresh victors emerge when the series proceeds to Watkins Glen and then Daytona, the 15 winners this year have all likely secured playoff berths.
