Former Pakistani Umpire Asad Rauf dies at age of 66
Asad Rauf died after suffering a cardiac arrest in Lahore.
After shutting his shop, Asad Rauf was going back to his house when he felt discomfort in his chest.
Asad Rauf was a part of the ICC Elite Panel from 2006 to 2013
He officiated in 64 Tests (49 as on-field umpire and 15 as TV umpire), 139 ODIs and 28 T20Is.
His career came to a controversial end when he was named in the IPL spot-fixing scandal
After that BCCI banned Rauf for five years on four charges of corruption and misconduct.
