Titans Released Former Ohio State Star Haskell Garrett

Haskell Garrett, a former defensive tackle for Ohio State, was one of the five players the Tennessee Titans released as they reduced their roster from 90 to 85.

Garrett was joined by former Volunteers Josh Malone, Jordan Wilkins, Deante Burton, and Carson Green on the offensive line.

Garrett played four years with the Buckeyes before becoming an undrafted free agent and being signed by the Titans in May.

The 6-2, 300-pound DT registered 62 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, 7.5 sacks, a pick-six, two fumble recoveries, one of which was returned for a touchdown, in 53 games with 14 starts.

Before the start of the regular season, he will be placed on the waiver wire with the possibility of being claimed by another team.

The Tennessee Titans released a former Ohio State defensive lineman as teams finalised their cuts before the deadline on Tuesday.
